Cable for DB9 to Analog RGBtoHDMI
This cable can be used to connect the following computers to an Analog RGBtoHDMI with a 6-pin input (with a small modification):
PC with MDA graphics card
PC with CGA graphics card
PC with EGA graphics card
The 80-columns video output of the Commodore 128
Olivetti Prodest PC1
This cable has active circuitry that needs to draw a little power from the 6-pin port of the RGBtoHDMI. Normally this port is not designed to provide any power, so you need to install a simple modification first which is provided alongside the cable. The mod consists of a diode and a resetable fuse that come soldered together and which needs to be connected between the input and the output socket of the analog board (see picture). Take care that the wires do not touch anything else on the board.
If you order an Analog RGBtoHDMI together with this cable, I can pre-mount the modification. For that, please leave a note in the order.
